Hi, my name is Izzy Monroy. It use to be Garcia but now it's Monroy. Just because my name has changed makes me no diffrent than how I was beofre my name changed. I am no longer attached to that name but did I choose to change it back?

No.

The reason why is because my name really doesn't define me. Nothing really does... Nothing can really define me because I am ever changing. Right now (according to my handy iphone app) I'm 34 weeks pregnant (about 8 1/2 months). In about a month or so I'm going to be a full on mom. I've been called a best friend, menice, floozy, wife, lover, girlfriend, kiddo, ex-wife, sweetheart, and fiance but those titles have always changed. None have really define me just like my name because it's always changing (later on hopefully my last name will change again).

But now in about 4-6 weeks I will have a title that will stick with me until the day that I die.

Mom...

... And I'm very happy to be defined by it.

All I have to say is that IMATS were so much fun!!!

My step-sister, the Boo, and myself all piled in the car and made our way up to LA area. Man... I still can't get over LA drivers. A picture to show that we made it in one piece.

I would really recommend it to anyone that is interested in anything doing with makeup. And its not just beauty makeup! There were a lot of people that were also showing special effects makeup as well. They brought in some of the effects that were using in movies. The props and latex pieces were really interesting to see. They had a bunch of demonstrations also on how to recreate certain characters or how to work with latex pieces right there on the convention center floor. Its amazing to see how all of the creatures that you see on the big screen are brought to life by some of the artists. I believe I saw a couple from Batman and also Planet of the Apes. Also, tons of body painting going on. MAC, I believe, had four total; two on Saturday and two on Sunday. MUFE was also doing some body painting. Even the person who was doing the body painting for the MUFE had some fierce ass lips going on.

I felt kind bad for the people getting body painted...

They had to stand there for hours.

I want those lips!!!

I did get to see Josh and Suzy there but no Leesha. Josh said that she was in a class. But anyways...

Myself, Josh, and Suzy

Here are some pictures of what I got.

Micheal's scrapbooking tote for 15 bucks!

My MAC that cost me $700 >:(

Crown brushes and clutch and some extras for the tote!

If you got to go then good for you but if you guys didn't get to go this year YOU NEED TOO!!! There was so much to take in and only one day (for myself) to do so. I wish I had gotten there eariler and I wished that I had brought a credit card. The only bad thing that happened that day was that MAC didn't take cash. I KNOW, RIGHT? So the Boo gave up the card but they didn't know how to ring up a business credit card so they ended up charging him about 5 times that day. We ended up getting a bill from them that was 700ish dollars. So far we are still trying to clear these transactions. I also recommend taking a small notebook and if you are looking to branch out some business cards. I spaced and forgot to print some out but oh well. Also though wear comfy shoes!!! I wore some really cute flats but even for me I was dying at the end of the day.

Talk to you all soon!

Hello...

For all of you (which is no one right now) my name is Izzy. That is my nick. I probably won't tell you my real name but I'm sure if you look hard enough you will all figure it out.

Right now I'm located in sunny California.

Right now its the last quarter of SuperBowl. Perfect time to do this with everyone else is busy watching the superbowl.

I'm just a girl from San Deezie that enjoys the internet. I also enjoy doing may other things: drawing, beauty, make-up, colors, hopeless romanitc. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you if your a part of my life.

I think I'm going to just make this a beauty blog since that is where my intrest is going right now. It's has been going that route for the last couple of years ( you will be able to see that with the massive haul that I will do in the next post).

Most of my makeup is MAC but I am branching out to other brands like Urban Decay, Ben Nye, Nars, even some Lorele and Rimmel.

So relax, kick back and stay tuned for some tutorials, blogs, reviews, and randomness.

Did I spell that last one right?...
